CHR to independently investigate dispersal of rallyists in US embassy


The Commission on Human Rights have announced that they will hold an independent investigation regarding the dispersal of rallyists in front of the United States embassy yesterday.

Atty Jackie de Guia said that the examination will be "unbiased and free". 

Many activists and policemen were harmed when a conflict between the two gatherings occured in the United States international safe haven in downtown Manila. 

Fifty dissenters and thirty policemen were harmed. 

Around 700 individuals from the activist Sandugo assembled at the setting to challenge the militarization of indigenous individuals' properties and express support for the free remote arrangement of President Rodrigo Duterte. 

The Police asserted the rallyists had no licenses, henceforth their activity.
