Duterte warns chief justice against 'meddling' in drug war

MANILA, Philippines - A blazing President Rodrigo Duterte cautioned Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno on Tuesday that he would arrange his authorities not to respect the legal on the off chance that she makes an "emergency" and proceeds what he called her intruding in his crackdown on unlawful drugs.

"I caution you. Try not to make an emergency since I will arrange everyone in the official division not to respect you. You need me honestly?"
Duterte said it takes in regards to a few months before a capture warrant can be secured. He noticed that cases take years or much "everlastingly" before they are determined by the court.
"In the Supreme Court (SC), let me know. What is the speediest choice you made on criminal cases?... You're requesting warrant of capture for 600,000 Filipinos. Meanwhile, what do we do with the junkie? We let them stay there to continue their criminal movement?" the president said.
"Ma'am huwag tayo magbolahan (we should not trick each other) and don't compel the issue. I regard your remark however it is… a nonsense to me," he included.
"Pigilin mo ako sige...Pag nagwala, would you rather I pronounce military law?" he likewise said.
